Title: Site EHS Professional

Degree Required: Bachelor Degree in Environmental, Chemical Engineering, Safety Management or IH

Years of Experience: 3+ years of hands-on, in-plant Environmental, Health and Safety experience

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 plus bonus (depends on level of experience)

Location: Lincoln, NE area

Our client, a multi-billion dollar manufacturing company, has an immediate need for an EHS Professional to lead a 150 employee manufacturing facility in implementing elements of the EHS Management System and ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 registration. Strong communication skills both verbal and written as well as the ability to facilitate training.

To be considered for this opportunity the following criteria must be met:

Bachelor Degree in Environmental, Chemical Engineering, Safety Management or IH
At least 3 years of hands-on, in-plant EH&S management experience
Must have a solid environmental and safety background to include EPA and OSHA regulatory compliance, training, and program implementation (ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001)
Preparation and submittal of environmental and safety governmental reports, permits and applications
Ability to demonstrate excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence change while gaining commitment to change

Our Client, a wholly owned subsidiary of a $11.5 Billion US based manufacturing conglomerate, is seeking an Environmental Engineer in Trenton, NJ

Reporting the Safety, Health and Environmental Leader the Environmental Engineer will be responsible for development, administrative, and continuing evaluation of Plant Environmental program; assure compliance with local, state, federal, company, and insurance ordinances, regulations and codes.

• Direct, develop, and implement proactive environmental strategies for the Facility

• Assure compliance with all State, Federal, and Local compliance regulations, including handling of all related regulatory and compliance reports
